golang-xmpp-dev software package provides Go package for pure Golang xmpp client implementation, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-xmpp-dev
golang-xmpp-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-xmpp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-xmpp-dev *
You will get with golang-xmpp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
